1. I have a JNC GPS-351 and there is no CD in the box with the map software
The JNC GPS-351 comes with an SD card inserted into the side of the unit. The SD card is preloaded with the Digi-Nav mapping software, all you have to do is turn the unit on, pick up a GPS signal, select a destination and let the GPS-351 Navig8 you there.

2. Is an external aerial required for in-car use?
Usually no – unless you have a car with an athermic heat reflecting windshield which will prevent the GPS signal from entering your car. In that case, you will need an external antenna
|
|
3. How do I know if my windshield is athermic?
Take the GPS receiver out of your car; go to the GPS receiver menu to check the GPS signal strength. When the signal is strong enough (4-5 green satellites), put the GPS receiver inside the car and close the windows. If the signal strength drops (so that there are no green satellites and it only displays grey satellites or nothing at all) your windshield is athermic and you’ll need to purchase an external antenna. 4. Can I use my GPS-351 abroad?
The GPS-351 can be used abroad provided the map set is available. The new map set will be an additional cost, please check the Map Upgrade section to confirm if your destination is available

5. I connect my GPS-351 to my PC and my PC does not pick up the device or it keeps asking for a driver
The GPS-351 is not a plug and play device and does not function as an SD card reader. In order to access the SD card supplied with the unit a separate SD card reader is needed.

|
6. I turn my GPS-351 on and touch Navigation on the blue start up screen in order to start navig8ing and nothing happens
The data on the SD card has become corrupt. The SD card needs to be formatted using a separate SD card reader and the Digi-Nav software reloaded.

7. What type of SD card does my JNC Navig8 support
The JNC GPS-351 supports an SD card upto 1GB. Please note this must be a standard SD card and not a mini SD card with adaptor as mini SD cards are not supported
