The Ndrive V9 Southern Africa is compatible with the GPS578, GPS580, GPS743 and GPS715.

To UPGRADE to NDrive, including the latest Southern Africa Maps, please follow these steps. 

1) Create an account with Ndrive

Go to http://www.ndriveweb.com/account/register/

Create a username and password and complete the registration form.

Ndrive will send you a confirmatory email.

Click to confirm and your account will be activated.

2) Download Ndrive Agent

Ndrive Agent is the application that will manage your Navig8 device.

Download and install the program from

 http://www.ndriveweb.com/account/updates/?slug=ndrive-updater.

3) Connect your Navig8 to the PC, waiting for the ActiveSync connection

4) Run the Ndrive Agent application as soon as the small "N" icon on the

lower right corner of your screen turns red.

5) Follow the steps on the application

6) Wait for the upgrade process to finish.

PLEASE DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR NAVIG8

UNTIL STEP 7 IS FULLY COMPLETED.

7) When the upgrade is done, please Exit Ndrive and Run it again.

(Do not disconnect you Navig8 yet).

This procedure stores the map and licence on your Navig8 and must always be done.

The download is approximately 200mb, and the total installation time is about 2 hours dependent on you internet connection. Ndrive agent will manage the process from start to finish.

The GPS351 is not compatible with the new software. We expect a version to possibly be available in February 2010.

If you have any issues with Ndrive Agent recognising your GPS, close Ndrive Agent, and restart it.
